Who can get involved in Healthwatch?
Healthwatch wants to hear from all sections of the community. This event is aimed at attracting new volunteers to get involved, so you don’t need medical knowledge – just common sense and a desire to influence issues such as:

Pop in to the Healthwatch info session in Bradford for the chance to meet other potential volunteers, hear from local Healthwatch organisers and learn about volunteer opportunities. The event is free, refreshments are available and coming along doesn’t commit you! Reasonable travel expenses will be covered – confirm this when you book.

Bradford LINk's Advisory Group has started-up an interim group to give advice on local Healthwatch. The group will meet in public and is open to the general public. The general public have the right to give their views at the end of the meeting. The first three meetings of this group will be:

Bradford LINk is supporting the district's Clinical Commissioning Group to explore rolling out Patient Participation Group networks in other areas. Read more about these here. The plan is to pilot the networks in two areas of the district – Bowling and Eccleshill.
