Dignity In Care

Bradford LINk is looking for people who are committed to standing up for the rights of health and social care users.

In support of the Government's Dignity in Care Campaign, we have started a Dignity Champions Network.

What is a Dignity Champion?

A Dignity Champion is someone who believes people being treated with dignity and respect when they are in care, is a basic human right and not an optional extra.

Anyone can be a Dignity Champion. People from all walks of life are signing up from MPs to health care workers and carers to volunteers. It doesn't matter how much experience and knowledge you have.

A Dignity Champion can devote as much time as they can afford to the cause. You don't have to commit hours of your time and energy to make a difference. All action, no matter how small will help us create a care system that is compassionate towards the people who use it.

What will a Dignity Champions Network do?

People who sign up to the network can meet to share information and talk about their experiences. They can discuss ways of improving the quality of care people are receiving in the district and then work together to take action.

Fore more information contact a member of the Bradford LINk team.

You can also sign up to become a dignity champion on the campaign's website www.dignityincare.org.uk or by filling in the form below.
