How can Bradford LINk make sure that the people in power listen to the people on the ground?
The Bradford LINk reports to the council's overview and scrutiny committee.
And when people join together to campaign for something, they have the right to know what actions have been taken as a result.
The Bradford LINk will also have a visits group that will have the right to enter and view health and social care premises that are paid for by the council or the PCT. The group can also visit other service providers by agreement.
But the main aim is to make sure people's needs are met with as little confrontation as possible. Wherever possible, the Bradford LINk will work with health and social care staff to make sure that they are able to provide the best possible service to as many users as possible.
