The government wants to make big changes to health and social care services. It has written a Health Bill that tells us what changes it wants to make. There were concerns over some of the ideas in the Health Bill so the government has had a rethink. It asked more people what they thought of the ideas and has made some changes.
Bradford LINk helped people have their say on the plans during this listening exercise. The government wanted the public to answer some questions. We wrote those questions in plain-English and collected people's responses. Bradford LINk has written a report based on what people in the district told us and it was sent to the government.
As part of this listening exercise, a group of senior doctors have been telling the government what they think of the plans. The group is called the NHS Future Forum. They wrote several papers recommending specific changes. .
