Adult Mental Health Services

NHS Bradford and Airedale asked people what they thought about adult mental health services but it told us that it had not found out all the information that it needed. We said that we would ask questions about mental health and we talked to 100 people. We wrote a report to give to Matt Neligan, who is responsible for the services bought by the NHS. We hope that the report will influence the NHS when it buys mental health services in future.

Bradford LINk supported a Mental Health Forum meeting in Keighley on 2nd July.

The Mental Health Forum was set up by Bradford Council, so that it could let people know what service users think.

We talked about what sorts of people have not been listened to in the past and what sort of questions to ask them.

The next Mental Health Forum meeting will be from 2-4pm on Thursday 6th August, St Andrew's Church, Newmarket Street, Skipton. This is because Bradford District Care Trust delivers mental health services in parts of North Yorkshire as well as Bradford district.

It will be the fourth Mental Health Forum meeting supported by Bradford LINk. For more information, please contact Bradford LINk on (01535) 665258 or email info@bradfordlink.org.uk.
