Public Health Bill

Healthy Lives Healthy People

The government has written a White Paper about their ideas on how to help people live healthier lives.

A White Paper is something the government writes to tell people about what it wants to do. It then takes those ideas to MPs and the Houses of Parliament to vote on whether they should become law.

The government says improving people's health means tackling issues like bad housing, bad diets and not exercising enough. It wants to know what people think of these ideas. People can tell the government what they think by answering some of the questions in the paper.
